A special download page has been set up so you may download and install your FamilySoft renewal.

1. Click on the link provided above or copy and paste it into your browser's Address field

2. R-Click on the download link on the webpage and L-click "Save Link As" or "Save Target As"

(Note: Your File Name may be different than the one in the images below.)

3. In the "Save In" field, select Desktop and then click the Save button. It will download the file "WAFSSCUpdate027000000.zip" to your Desktop

4. Open the file "WAFSSCUpdate027000000.zip" on your Desktop.

You will then see a list of files. Open the Setup.exe file (if the .exe part does not show, it's the first Setup file on the list that is an application file)

5. Enter the law firm name and one of the six-character Internet Key Codes provided on your receipt. An Internet Key Code is provided for each installation or license and may only be used once. Please ensure that FamilySoft has inbound and outbound access to the Internet through the firewall or temporarily disable your firewall for this update installation.

6. The installation will proceed. Exit the installation when finished. If Windows asks if the program installed correctly, select "This program installed correctly"

7. For Win7/Vista computers: The user logon needs to have local admin rights in order to run FamilySoft. Please ensure the user logon has these rights.

8. Open FamilySoft and run the Quick Internet Update when prompted. If you are current, it will let you know. If not, it will install the latest internet update. After the internet update has finished, open FamilySoft, click Help >> About FamilySoft and you should have version 27.0.0

9. If you disabled your firewall and security software, please enable it once again.

10. Please remove the installation file, "WAFSSCUpdate027000000.zip", from your Desktop. You may store it on your computer, network or on a CD.
